We have an exciting opportunity for a School Therapist based in Kirklees, on a 12-month fixed term, full-time or part-time basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £32,440- £40,530 per annum.

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate School Therapist to join our Task Force Team in Kirklees. Our ideal candidate is someone who can deliver short-term, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, collaborate with school staff and families, and support pupils’ emotional wellbeing.

What you’ll do as our School Therapist:

Deliver one-to-one and group-based therapy to primary and secondary school pupils, including those in alternative provision

Assess mental health needs and risks

Liaise with school teams and the Task Force Team

Make referrals to specialist services where needed

Promote safeguarding and positive outcomes for all children and families
What you’ll bring as our School Therapist:

A relevant therapeutic qualification
-
At least one year of post-qualification clinical experience
-
Experience working with children and young people with emotional or behavioural needs

Excellent communication, assessment, and record-keeping skills
-
